AMECU Merger - What You Need to Know

We are pleased to announce that the AMECU Membership voted in favor of the merger with Towpath Credit Union. Additionally, the National Credit Union Association (NCUA) and the Ohio Division of Financial Institutions (ODFI) have both provided their approval of the merger.

Drive-Thru & Call Center Lobbies (lobby access is currently limited)

Monday - Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Friday: 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

YOUR MERGER QUESTIONS, ANSWERED:

Q: Will my account number stay the same?

A: You will get a new account number when you switch over to Towpath CU.

 

Q: When will the merger take place? 

A: The official date of the merger will be February 1, 2021. Towpath Credit Union will be reaching out to you regarding the specific date that your account will be transitioned over.  

 

Q: What can I do if I would like to transition my account to Towpath CU sooner than February? 

A: If you would not like to wait for us to transition your account over, you can send us an email (at hello@towpathcu.com) and our team will assist you.
